Stape Silver Band was established in 1884 in the farming community of Stape situated on the Southern edge of the North York Moors. The band, now based in the busy market town of Pickering is self-supporting, a friendly " town brass band ". We are a teaching, performing and contesting band, currently graded in the 3rd Section in the Northern Area.
