The Home of Eddie the Gnome

Eddie the Gnome is entitled to roam.
He'll visit us all when we're not at home.
He crawls into your head does our little Eddie,
When drink has control and you're not too steady.
He takes over the wheel, win, lose or draw
But his steering's not good as you head for the door.
He makes you expose yourself, fall, doesn't matter,
In full public view you'll go down with a clatter.
Go pee in the car park, bum in the air,
Run around naked, don't say its not fair.
For when you're awarded his image for shame,
Its not drink!
Its not you!
Its Eddie to blame!!!!!!!!

The statuary image of "Eddie" is awarded, not necessarily to a band member,
for outstanding peformances, usually alcohol fuelled, when the playing is over.
Any public act of lunacy, nudity, or ridiculousness may attract this award.
Denial is useless and the awardee must possess and display the statue until
such time as a further act necessitates his award elsewhere.

This signifies that this individual has been awarded the Gnome.
In certain circumstances you will see his image displayed more than once.
I believe this is self-explanatory.

Eddie the Gnome is named, with great respect, after the late Eddie Hill.
For many years, Bandmaster of the Stape Silver Band.
